If you want to cancel your use registration of Myna (My Number) health insurance card for some reason, it has become possible that it has become possible that you cancel by applying to the Health Insurance Society. (Re-registration is also possible after cancellation.)
"Application for Cancellation of Use Registration of Myna Health Insurance Card"
After accepting the application, the Health Insurance Society will issue an Eigility Verification Certificate to the applicant. In some cases, a separate application for an Eligibility Verification Certificate may be required, so please contact the Health Insurance Society for details.
※ Issuance of the Eligibility Verification Certificates will be from December 2, 2024 onwards.
※ If you have a health insurance card valid during the transitional period until December 1, 2025, it is
possible that Eligibility Verification Certificate may not be issued immediately.
Applicants will not be notified of the cancellation completion. Please check it following the procedure of "Health Insurance Card" → "My Number Card Usage Status" on Myna Portal. In the meanwhile, please note that it may take about 1 to 2 months for the information to be reflected on My Number Portal after cancellation of user registration.
If you moved to another medical insurer between the time of application for cancellation and its effected cancellation (about 1 to 2 months), you are requested to inform the new medical insurer that you applied for cancellation to the previous medical insurer you were enrolled in, and to apply for an Eligibility Verification Certificate.
