Please be informed that the people who live in areas where the Disaster Relief Act has been applied and suffered damage can get exemption from partial medical expenses, etc. as stated below:

 

Object persons

1. The persons who have been hit by disasters such as the collapse of whole or half of the house, the fire of whole or half of the house, and the flooding on the floor or similar damages.
2. When the main livelihood maintainer died or suffered a serious injury or illness
3. When the whereabouts of the main livelihood maintainer are unknown

 

Handling

• Exemption from some medical expenses (personal burden at the counter) at a medical institution
• Postponement of insurance premium payment deadline for voluntarily and continuously insured persons (until the end of December 2024)  
• Exemption from the fee for reissuing the health insurance card

 

Object area

Areas covered by the Disaster Relief Act due to heavy rain caused by the low pressure and front from September 21, 2024

 

Object period

September 21, 2024 to December 31, 2024
