Subsidies for the cost of various checkups

Online applications via Pep Up became available from May 2026.
(Influenza vaccination will start from October 2026.)
Before applying, please be sure to review the subsidy eligibility conditions.
Subsidies payment will be transferred to salary, etc. 1 to 2 months after receiving the application forms.

* From FY 2027, paper-based subsidy applications will be discontinued.

Brain checkup

Conditions for Payment of Subsidy

Applies to: Eligibility limitations Insured persons

Application Limit Once per year
Subsidy amounts Amount paid up to 15,000 yen (tax included) maximum
How to Apply Submit the following documents to the Health Insurance Association: Subsidy Application Form,Receipt,Copy of the examination results. Applications can be submitted via Pep Up (online), mail, or internal company mail
Receipt RequirementsThe receipt must clearly include Name of examinee

Cases Not Eligible for Subsidy

  • Examinations covered by insurance
  • CT scan only
  • Combined checkups (e.g. full medical checkup including brain checkup) where the brain checkup fee cannot be confirmed
  • Incomplete receipts or missing information in the application
  • Examinations conducted outside Japan

Breast Cancer Screening

  • * If the examination fee (*1) is unclear in a general medical checkup, the subsidy will be calculated based on insurance fee points. Examination results must be attached.

  • * If the cost of the examination item (*1) is unclear when included in a general health checkup, the subsidy amount will be calculated based on medical insurance fee points. Subsidy amounts Barium test: Amount paid up to 14,000 yen (tax included) maximum
Gastric endoscopy: Amount paid up to 18,000 yen (tax included) maximum

  • Sedatives, biopsy fees, or other costs not directly related to the screening
  • Incomplete receipts or missing application information
  • Examinations conducted outside Japan
